MBA and EMBA Programs at ITM
Ohio University is acknowledged in the international education community as the pioneer of the concept of "twinning" of higher education institutions in Malaysia. Ohio University began its historic relationship with the MARA Institute of Technology (ITM) in 1968 and launched its cooperative OU\ITM BBA program with its first intake of students in 1975.
In 1994, Ohio University through its cooperative programs at ITM, became the largest producer of MBA and EMBA graduates in Malaysian history, thereby helping Malaysia to meet a critical manpower shortage identified by Malaysian national development planners. These programs are now phasing out as ITM begins to offer its own advanced degree programs.
